G-D's Timing is Not Man's Timing(and that is a very good thing!)
It is such a cliche, but true. It recalls to mind something a former pastor of mine used to say, 'Small Picture' v 'Big Picture.' Since G D is omniscient, HE always knows what's best and the perfect timing of the aforesaid which obviously is equivalent to the 'big picture.' Man, being foolish and ignorant(although to many, wise in their own estimation of themselves) only sees the 'small picture' since truthfully he really couldn't fathom anything more-like the movie line, "You want the truth? You can't handle the truth!" This is also understandable if one is a good parent. Your child may beg for something you know that is not beneficial for them, so you deny it OR you will grant it but only when you feel they are ready for it.
This was recalled to mind earlier when I viewed some current headlines-one about Israel and the truth of the flotilla incident, and the other about Drew Peterson, the police office who is suspected of killing his third and fourth wives. After years of heartache for the family of his fourth wife, a new tip is being thoroughly investigated as to the possible whereabouts of his fourth wife's body. Of course he is still insisting on his innocence in the homicides, but the truth will be made known because no matter how man tries to hide his evil deeds performed in the darkness, G D has a perfect way of exposing them to the light of truth.
This perfectly aligns with the Scripture verse that G D has been bringing to my mind repetitively as of late, 'Trust in G D with your whole heart and lean not on your own understanding.' (the next few verses are excellent as well.)Proverbs(Mishlei)3:5
I do not understand a good deal of why things not only happen in the world that are unjust, but in my own life as well. I think the lesson is to lay aside the tendency to try to analyze the situation and instead humble oneself and follow the next couple of verses of Proverbs 3. I could write them down for you, but I think it would be more beneficial for my readers to forage as it were for themselves. G D is always in control, even when it appears He isn't. He is always just and perfect and so are His Paths. We are the sheep that are led astray in our ignorance and it's really past the time for the ones who REALLY love Him to stand up for the truth in our lives and in the world at large. Words mean nothing; actions mean everything. One of the best books to read during trials is Job. I have read that some scholars believe this was the first scroll penned. Sure we can question, but in humility with the realization that HE may not give an answer and HE does not owe us any answers. We were created for His Perfect Purposes and not for our own. We will be accountable one day, so let's remove our eyes from the things of this world which are but dust in the wind, and fix them on the Perfect One, blessed be HE. Let us follow His Torah and never forsake it. It is still valid today and true Wisdom is found only in It since HE is the Author of It. Don't look for someone else to start, you start. It just takes one candle to light the darkness and we are to be a light to the nations.
