Target recalls children's weighted blankets after two deaths : (Reuters) - Target Corp said on Thursday it has recalled about 204,000 Pillowfort weighted blankets for children after receiving reports of two fatalities. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said a 4-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl reportedly became entrapped in the cover of the weighted blanket and died due to asphyxia in April 2022. 10-year-old girl denied abortion in Ohio This child got pregnant from rape, and the f*cked up Republicans won't let her have an abortion.  They want a child to bear her rapist's baby.  It's not bad enough she's been sexually abused, but they want her to go through a pregnancy and childbirth which could actually kill her. Yeah, that's real "pro-life."  NOT! That's disgusting and reprehensible and I'm tired of Republicans ruining this country. The SCOTUS is corrupt. 

COVID is more dangerous than flu for kids, study finds : COVID-19 poses far more danger to kids than seasonal flu, a new study confirms. "We found the impact to pediatric hospitalization among the two viruses are not equivalent and, in fact, children admitted with COVID-19 or MIS-C experienced longer stays and required more invasive treatments like mechanical ventilation than children admitted with the flu," said principal investigator Dr. Steven Shein.
