Israeli Study Suggests Protection Against COVID-19 Infection from 2nd Booster Shot Wanes Quickly | Health News | US News

This is unacceptable.  Only protecting against severe illness or death is not good enough for a virus that damages human organs with a mild case.   It is not good enough to only protect against severe illness or death when you can contract long Covid with a minor case.  It wasn't "good enough" for a smallpox or polio vaccine.  It's not "good enough" to stop developing a vaccine because you're too lazy to establish a higher bar. It's not good enough to consider to "live with it."  What happens when people who have damage to their organs contract the virus over and over again? It's not like the brain, heart, lungs, or kidneys can heal from this and take the beating of repeated cases of the virus.  
 I am very disappointed in this mindset.  Very.
